We are now Live!
Today we're opening the doors to Local, a free portfolio platform built for young Zimbabweans.
Too often, talented people go unnoticed. A CV can't show the app you built, the designs you made, the farm project you started or the music you produce. Social media is noisy, and your best work gets buried. We built Local so you have one clean, professional place that shows who you are and what you can do.
What you can do on Local
- Build your profile in minutes. Add your education, your field, where you're based and a short bio.
- Show your work. Add projects with photos so people can see what you've actually built, made or achieved.
- Share what you're working towards. Tell people your goals, and the help you need to get there, whether that's a mentor, an attachment, equipment or an opportunity.
- Make it yours. Choose from six profile designs and colour palettes.
- Get help with the words. Not sure how to describe yourself? Our built-in AI suggests a stronger headline and bio. You choose what to keep.
- Share one link. Your profile lives at your own address, like local.co.zw/yourname. Put it on your CV, in your WhatsApp status or in your Instagram bio, or send it straight to anyone who asks what you do.
Get discovered
Local is also where companies and organisations come to find young talent. When your profile is public, they can find you by your field and province and reach out to you directly. Your next opportunity could start with a message on Local.
Safe and genuine
Every profile is reviewed by our team before it goes public, so the people you meet on Local are real. You stay in control: you decide what goes on your profile, and you can edit or delete it at any time.
It's free
Local is completely free for young people. No fees, no catches.
Get started today
1. Go to local.co.zw and tap Register
2. Choose your username: that becomes your link
3. Fill in your profile and add a project or two
4. Submit it for review, and share your link once it's approved
Students, creators, builders, dreaman't wait to see what you've beenworking on.
